Exploring New Horizons with Italy – Partner Country of BODW 2025

In mid-April, a delegation led by the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), organiser of Business of Design Week (BODW), together with lead sponsor Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), co-organiser Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and strategic partners, embarked on an inspiring study trip to Italy, the Partner Country of BODW 2025.

The Provocations of Michele De Lucchi, Memphis Group Co-Founder 

Italy is the partner country for this year's Business of Design Week in Hong Kong. Over the coming months, we'll introduce you to various designers and projects that will be showcased at the BODW Summit in December. This month, we’re featuring a true icon of Italian design: Michele De Lucchi, Co-Founder of the Memphis Group. We discussed the legacy of his renowned design group from the 1980s.
